The Christian Dior brand is one of the best-known French fashion brands worldwide.<\/p>\n

The couture house of Dior stands for dreamlike evening gowns and inspired collections that combine contradictory elements with the utmost elegance \u2013 modern Parisian chic.<\/p>\n

As well as haute couture, Dior offers high-priced ready-to-wear clothing for women, a men's line and children's collections. In addition, the range includes leather goods, shoes, accessories, perfumes and cosmetics in the luxury goods segment.<\/p>\n

The first fashion collection presented by Dior in February 1947 was already a great success and was celebrated by American journalists as the New Look. Only two years after the end of the Second World War, Europe was largely destroyed, but after all the misery, people yearned for beauty and luxury.<\/p>\n

The company Dior is largely responsible for ensuring that Paris was able to maintain its position as the fashion capital of the world.<\/p>\n

A little of this flair has already been captured in the former capital city of Bonn, in the magnificent La Redoute.<\/p>\n

As early as 1952, Christian Dior came to La Redoute to stage a haute couture fashion show at the invitation of Mme Poncet, one of his clients and wife of the then French High Commissioner.<\/p>\n
